Over the last 30 years Kevin has gained considerable experience undertaking numerous executive and non-executive roles in industry and consulting. During his career he has been involved with the successful design, development, manufacture, sale, supply and in-service support of some of the world’s most technically advanced manufactured products and systems. He has also successfully designed, sold, led and implemented some of the most complex software enabled information technology and business operations/cultural transformation consultancy programmes ever undertaken with both major blue-chip industrial companies and public sector bodies worldwide, achieving for them sustainable step function performance improvements.
Kevin has held the positions of Managing Director, Executive Director, Head of Consulting, Managing Partner, Senior Partner, Partner, Chief Client Officer, and Senior Vice President in a number of well-known industrial and consulting firms such as the General Electric Company, Hopkinson’s Holdings plc, Pera International, Corporate Value Associates, Ernst & Young, KPMG, Deloitte, Axon plc, BearingPoint, Celerant and Logica plc.
In the private sector his client base extends across global majors in the oil and gas, high technology, industrial scientific and consumer goods, automotive, pharmaceutical, aerospace and defence sectors including firms such as BAE Systems, Rolls-Royce, Airbus, EADS, Thales, GKN, Honeywell, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Meggitt, Philips, Ford, Vauxhall, Toyota, Astra Zeneca, GSK, BP, British Gas, Shell, ARM, Intel, National Semiconductor, etc.
His public sector client list covers a wide range of international organisations in central and local government departments including the USA Department of Defense, the European Commission, NATO, UK Home Office, Cabinet Office, HMRC, Justice, Health, Education, Police, Defence, Government Secure Clients and Local Councils.
Kevin has travelled extensively in his career as a retained business advisor working in close partnership with the executive management teams of his global clients to deliver outstanding shareholder value for them. He has successfully contributed to building many multi-million-pound consulting practices by innovating leading edge professional services to meet the current and emerging needs of some of the world’s most demanding clients.
He holds a number of personal/organisational patents, has authored and co-authored numerous thought leadership white papers and articles on aspects of organisational transformation, is the originator of the TBOS® organisational transformation methodology and provides ongoing expert commentary to the UK House of Lords, UK House of Commons, various business analysts, investors, the technical press and public reporting agencies around strategy, technology, digital transformation, human capital and business process transformation, operational excellence and sustainable change in the sectors in which he operates.
Kevin is defence security cleared, holds a BSc(Hons) degree in electronic engineering and physics, an MBA, is a Chartered Engineer, a Member of the Association of Business Mentors, a Member of the Institute of Gas Engineers and Managers and is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology.
